If you are like me, until last week I have never heard of Aunty Rozzy before…….but gee am I so glad I was introduced to her books. Through her books and characters that she has created, she is engaging kids to read, dance, sing and at the same time encouraging healthy eating habits.
When I saw the package that I was given to review, I was so delighted to see the colourful illustration of the books. I personally love lots of colours, and I firmly believe that Kids love bright coloured illustrations too. I find also that Special kids seem to be so attracted to something that is so colourful.
As I went through the books, the message is loud and clear to introduce and eat healthy food….but it is done in a way that eating Healthy food becomes fun and enjoyable. With every book comes an Audio CD. The music and songs that comes along with the book are very catchy and makes you want to sing and dance……Nanna’s Carrots comes in a choice of Hardcover or Paperback. They are both nicely finished.
Aunty Rozzy has also come up with an “Edible Reciplease Calendar”
“Colourful and bright, each month features one key ingredient that is in season. Designed to be easily accessible for children and to teach them about seasonal produce, you can also get the kids enjoying their time in the kitchen by making up the recipes from the Incredible Edible Reciplease section of the website.”
