If you are travelling in Cairns and you have in mind to take a trip to the Daintree Forest beware!

Two weeks ago, I was up in Cairns with a group of our friends. One of our trips was to the Daintree Forest, if you are like me, when we are on the road for a while, the first thing I look for, as we get out of the car…you guessed it the “Ladies”


Guess what greeted us as we entered the public toilets?
Typical in the Daintree Crocs….


  


That was a good laugh!

Reminiscing going through some of the images of one of my trips back home (Malta)!

While I am having a break, no I am not in Malta……although I so wish I was, I thought I share with you some gorgeous moments.


These below are some of the shots of the Port in Malta. It is situated in Valetta which is the capital of Malta. I am sorry to say, but although we can have beautiful weather here, nothing beats the blue skies back home….no wonder the sea is always brilliant blue.

This looking just across…where you see 2 of the 3 old cities. This is where I was brought up…and in summer we spend quite a few nights with dad fishing at the edge of those fortifications…..

Ah……beautiful memories!

Stockholm Sweden ~~ cafe along the waterfront….

In my trip to Beautiful Stockholm, one memory comes to mind, I was travelling with my daughter and we decided one night to stop at this cafe, to have a drink…we decided to, have a bottle of Rose as, I prefer drinking red and she was more comfortable with the white…so we decided to order a Rose to suit both….Well we looked at the menu and the only Rose wine was an Australian wine…which in Australia, we can get for $10.00…Guess how much we ended up paying for it…….?

$50.00 ….Sweden has a very high tax on Alcohol…..I could not believe it at the time..all I remember we had a great time and you can imagine after finishing the whole bottle between us…we were both merry merry!

I find Peace in nature….Dubai Desert at Sunset…

This is one treasured moment (in the Sand Dunes of Dubai Desert), I experienced in my travels, my camera played up on the day and died on me.
These are the only 2 images that I managed to have…as you see the camel is posing right infront where the sun is coming down. It was a magical moment that I still cherish  (one that I dig in when I want to remember special moments to pick me up)!
